PRESIDENT
Ken has led Highland’s steady growth over the past 20 years. He is actively engaged in
all aspects of the business, including client management, business development,
operations, finance and technology. Ken remains very accessible to clients and staff
to ensure exceptional customer service and employee satisfaction. His prior experience
included leading corporate development for a large software company and senior positions
at financial services firms. Ken is a graduate of Cornell University with a BA in
Computer Science. He resides in Boulder, CO.

Miranda Evans
VP, Account Service Manager
Miranda has over 20 years’ ad industry experience and leads Highland’s Account Service team.
She works with a variety of top agency and brand clients, providing talent payroll and related
business affairs consulting services. In addition to handling payroll, Miranda regularly prepares
talent cost estimates, negotiates talent agreements and advises her clients on union talent and
production matters. Prior to joining Highland in 2015, Miranda gained extensive talent payroll
and business affairs experience, including a variety of positions with Talent Partners. Prior
to that, she held positions in traffic and broadcast production, including as Senior Producer
for Grey LA. Miranda resides in Los Angeles.

Tonya Varney
Controller
Tonya joined Highland more than 25 years ago and is responsible for financial and payroll
operations, including bookkeeping, accounts receivable, union benefit plan contributions
and banking. She has extensive talent payroll experience and works closely with
Highland’s account service teams to support operations and client billing.
Tonya resides Cleveland, OH.
